1. About CampusEats

CampusEats is a technology platform that enables students to place food orders from participating campus canteens. CampusEats does not prepare, cook, package, or deliver food. All food items, ingredients, preparation methods, hygiene standards, pricing, and availability are managed solely by the respective canteen vendors.

2. Food & Menu Disclaimer

While CampusEats strives to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee:

• Availability of menu items
• Accuracy of ingredient information
• Preparation times
• Food quality or taste
• Allergen-free food preparation

Users with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or health concerns should contact the canteen directly before placing an order. Token numbers are for pickup identification only and do not guarantee order priority.

3. Limitation of Liability

CampusEats shall not be liable for:

• Food quality issues
• Delays caused by canteen operations
• Incorrect orders prepared by vendors
• Temporary platform outages
• Losses arising from misuse of user accounts

4. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. CampusEats does not store card or UPI details. Refunds for cancelled or incorrect orders are subject to the canteen vendor's policy. Please contact the canteen directly for refund requests.

5. Data Privacy

We collect your name, email, and phone number solely to process orders and send notifications. Your data is stored securely and is not sold to third parties. By using CampusEats, you consent to this data collection for the purposes of order fulfillment.

6. Account Responsibility

Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account. CampusEats is not liable for unauthorized orders placed from your account. Please sign out on shared devices.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

8. Changes to Terms

CampusEats reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
